Aluminum fence installation is putting in a lightweight, rust-resistant metal fence system, typically ornamental in style with vertical pickets set between horizontal rails, mounted on posts set in concrete. Aluminum has become one of the most popular metal fencing choices because it gives you the classic wrought iron look without the rust, chipping paint, or heavy maintenance that comes with real iron over the years.
You're a good candidate for aluminum fencing if you want a decorative, upscale look for the front of a property without the upkeep of wood or the maintenance cycle of real iron, if you're fencing a pool area and need something that won't obstruct visibility while still meeting safety code, or if you're replacing an old wrought iron or chain link fence that's rusted out and want something that stays looking good with essentially no maintenance. It's also a common choice for property lines where a solid privacy fence isn't wanted or allowed.
We start by laying out the fence line and marking post locations according to your property boundaries and any local setback requirements. Post holes get dug to proper depth for your frost line and soil conditions, and posts are set in concrete to make sure the fence stays plumb and stable long-term. Once posts are set and cured, we install the aluminum panels between them, making sure everything is level across grade changes in the yard, and finish with any gates, latches, or hardware needed for access points.
Cost depends on total linear footage, the style and height of panel you choose – taller and more ornamental styles cost more than a basic picket style – and any site conditions like slopes, rocky soil, or existing obstacles that make installation more labor-intensive. Properties in Saint Louis, MO with pool code requirements sometimes need specific picket spacing and self-closing gate hardware, which we'll factor into the quote.
